Warrior Welcome Day (Photo Gallery)
On July 28th, St. Charles West High School Welcome Ambassadors hosted the club’s first “Warrior Welcome” day to welcome the new freshmen to the high school. The welcome ceremony started with breakfast that consisted of donuts and milk, an assembly to introduce staff to the freshmen, and then continued with a tour of all the departments where freshmen would meet teachers from each department. Later in the day, the freshmen got to participate in an assembly with games, cheers, and get to know you activities. The day ended with an ice cream social and allowed for freshmen to talk to old friends and make new friends at the same rate.
Overall, the day was a success and allowed for freshmen to feel more welcome at St. Charles West on the first day. Thank you to all the welcome ambassadors for your help and support.
