The St. Charles West baseball team has faced its fair share of adversities over the past 2 years. From having their season taken away in the midst of a pandemic to having to deal with covid and quarantining, the Warriors have made sure to take nothing for granted this year.
With 8 seniors on the team there is no doubt that there is a great deal of experience on the team. With a record of 12-5 the Warriors have put together a great start to the season and have managed to become GAC conference champs with an 8-1 record in conference and a two game sweep over St. Charles. With May 5th being the Warriors senior night they plan to recognize seniors Jack Boyce, Kolten Hartmann, Ray Rico, Hunter Suess, Grant Middendorf, Darius DeCarolis, Cole Gramling, and Michael Quirk. The following seniors have been great leaders to the younger players and continue to lead by example.
“These kids have been a lot of fun to coach this season and I’m proud of how far they’ve come but just because we won conference doesn’t mean we’re done. We’re just getting started!” Head Coach, Nuru Allen said. Although they have already reached one of their major goals for the season, there is still so much for this team to accomplish
