Charlotte Saffa Takes Flight

Charlotte Saffa is a sophomore at St. Charles West who is a part of varsity cheer, marching band, swim and jazz band. Charlotte is also currently working towards her aviation license. When asked about this, Charlotte said: “I started my career in aviation around spring of last year, I started taking beginner ground school classes at Creve Coeur Airport”. Charlotte even scored the highest test grade in her class. While at aviation school, she learns how to help with takeoffs, landing, and flying. Saffa also shared that “this March I will start working on my pilot license with Piston Aviation and I will hopefully take my solo flight and get my pilot’s license in a few years”.
