At St. Charles West, Megan Pratt is known for her outgoing positivity towards other students. Megan is also a kind person to talk to in a class. Megan is a part of Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Keyclub, and SCW men’s Golf.
Megan’s favorite club to be a part of is FCA, “I enjoy getting up early in the morning and being with a positive community.” said Pratt.
One of Megan’s favorite memories here at West is having in depth conversations and deepening her understanding of the topics in class. “In forensics where we were talking about the case for JonBenet Ramsey. We were discussing the conspiracy theories and trying to figure out what happened” said Pratt.
In Megan’s free time she likes to play with puppies, go shopping with her cousins, go to youth groups, and try new recipes to cook in the kitchen. Pratt also enjoys going to church, she attends Dardenne Presbyterian church. She likes to take sermon notes when she is there. “My favorite bible verse is Proverbs 46:5, because it is my confirmation verse.” said Pratt.
Pratt and her friend Julia Kean have a German class together. “She and I never fail to make each other laugh and add quotes to our ever growing German quote board in Frau Martin’s room.” said Kean.
After Pratt graduates from high school she plans to attend Maryville University in Creve Coeur Missouri. She plans to major in Pre-Physical Therapy and then get her Doctorate In physical therapy after that. She would like to work in the hospital setting after she gets her degree. “I wanna get to work with kids, but I want to have a new challenge everyday and that is why I would like to work in the hospital setting so I get to do something new each day.” said Pratt. Pratt also has the goal to play golf at Maryville for their women’s golf team. To reach her goals of playing golf in college, she is going to the driving range to improve her swing, and going to the gym to get stronger.
