The High School State Dance Competition held on February 22nd, at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri was a display of talent, and hard work. Teams from across the state gathered to showcase their routines, each hoping to take home the title of state champion.
St. Charles West had an outstanding showing at the competition, bringing home top awards in several categories. “Our team was very excited with our placements. We kept our D2 Jazz state title for the 3rd year in a row, and we brought home 2n in D2 Hip Hop out of 7 teams. This was really significant for the fact that it was our first year ever competing in hip hop” senior Kleyton Crate said.
Our teams brought all their energy and hardwork, and “Left it all on the floor” as the dance team would say. Congratulations to the St. Charles West dance team, and all the dedication and time put into this season.
