Yesterday, the St. Charles West varsity golf team announced that junior Ian Hollander, freshman Owen Shy, and sophomore John Howle have all qualified for the state golf tournament this month.

All golfers have had some phenomenal accomplishments throughout the 2022 golf season.  Ian Hollander managed to place at every varsity golf tournament, a 2nd place finish at the St. Albans Tournament, and he was the White Division Champion at the Bogey Hills Invitational.  John Howle managed to place 11th at the St. Albans Tournament, earning the golf team a third place placement.  Owen Shy has been a consistent and rejuvenating force to the golf team, earning 15th place at the St. Albans Tournament, a top 15 placement at the Warrenton Invitational, and he placed first twice against Winfield and North Point.

Overall, the team had an undefeated season, and these golfers have put in a consistent amount of hard work, passion, and drive into the game of golf.  Congratulations to Ian, John, and Owen on their accomplishment!
