SCW Color Guard Wins Outstanding Color Guard Award

On Saturday, September 17th the St. Charles West Color Guard won the Outstanding Color Guard award at the Edwardsville Marching Band Festival. They have been working hard on their “Wanted Dead or Alive” show since June. Their current instructors: Lily Warden, Jamie Beffa, and Casey Newton have done a great job setting them up for the season. This season, they are playing the villains in this year’s western themed show and have some complicated sequences including a dual scene between a guard member and tenor.
