This coming of age LGBTQIA+ book by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Follows Aristotle known as Ari is an angry teen with an older brother in prison; he soon meets Dante who has an unusual way of looking at the world they meet at a swimming pool and seem to be complete opposites. Over the summer of 1987 the two boys became inseparable. Sadly Dante and his family are moving to Chicago when school starts because his Father got a job offer at The University of Chicago after an incident that left Ari in the hospital  Dante left telling Ari that he loved him. The two wrote letters about their life Dante comes back over the summer many things happen with Ari and Dante’s relationship. Ari also discovers why his brother is in prison as the two boys discover who they are and what they want to do with their lives they become closer than ever.
