Barry Thomas Scores his 1000th Point
On Friday, February 23rd, Senior Barry Thomas scored his 1000th point in a basketball game against St. Charles High School. Barry has played high school basketball since his freshman year, and started at SCHS. After he transferred from SCHS to U-City, he started at SCW his junior year. He has played with us for the past 2 years, and we are very lucky to have him. Thomas has been playing basketball since second grade, and plans on continuing his basketball career after high school. When he scored the point, he said that, “It was a good accomplishment, but when I scored it, it was just another point,”. When asked what advice he would give to aspiring basketball players, he recommends to work as you can and be the best you can be.
