The St. Charles West dance team has had a great season so far. Performing at football games, assemblies, basketball games, and their own competitions helps them showcase their skills and new performances. “We’ve had to overcome a lot of challenges already this season, but with our new coach – Ms. Lake – we’ve improved a ton! Our chemistry as a team is incredible and we’ve all been able to push each other to be the best that we can.,” said team member Annabelle Prost on the start of their season.
One of Dance and Drill’s favorite sayings is, “quality over quantity,” which is clearly shown in their 5 very skilled dancers. The team has performed extremely well at state for the last few years running, and looks to do the same again this year.
Most recently, they have gotten 2nd in precision Jazz, and 1st place in Mix, a huge personal accomplishment for the team. This was at the Yvonne Cole Invitational dance meet on December 2nd.
They also showcased 3 solos with Annabelle Prost placing 3rd place and Kleyton Crate placing 1st. Congratulations to the West Warriorettes!
