On March 1st, our very own SCW winter guard took second place at Wentzville Liberty High School. Scoring a 64.52, the spinning flags and soaring sabers created a beautiful show.
“Having such an intense show has caused excitement from the first practice. The competition on Saturday exceeded all my expectations. We had our best run yet, and I’m thrilled to see how much our show can grow over the next month.” said captain Alyssa Carnes.
The show titled Off With Their Heads performed to the song You Should See Me In A Crown by Billie Eilish can be seen next at Edwardsville high School on March 15th.
