Class officers are people who help organize your class, but do you know your St. Charles West class officers?
To start off with, for your senior class, we have Addie Nicholos as president, Stella Garrison as Vice President, and Annabelle Prost as Secretary. Addie Nicholos is a part of Key Club, swim, and she is also President of National Honor Society, President of DECA, Captain of Cross Country, and she also does Pole Vaulting. Addie explains “She became a senior class officer because her mom said she needed to join a club”. In her free time she enjoys doing homework and going out to eat with her friends Mary and Abby Loftus. Stella Garrison is President of Key Club, National Honors Society, and a part of swim. She became Vice President of her Senior Class because she enjoys decorating, making posters and planning homecoming . Outside of school you can find her hanging out with her friends and family as well as swimming. Annabelle Prost is a part of Key Club, Fellowship of Christians Athletes, National Honors Society, as well as Dance,Track and StuCo. Annabelle states that “she became secretary because she enjoyed being a leader and being involved”. In her freetime she goes to the gym and cooks.
For your Junior Class we have Evelyn Isom as President, Alyssa Riegerix as Vice President and Alexis Arriola as Secretary. Evelyn Isom is a part of Tennis, Wrestling, and Track & Field, she also is involved in National Honors Society, MAC Scholars, Orchestra and this year she is planning to be involved with the Black Student Union. When asked why she became Junior Class President she explained that “she grew up in church being a leader in her age group” she also explained that she’s very outgoing and generally a really good leader. Evelyn talked about how “she doesn’t have much free time but when she does she enjoys napping, baking/cooking and practicing her instruments. Alyssa Riegerix is a part of StuCo, Theatre and National Honor Society, she became Vice President because she wanted to organize Junior Class grade events and include more students’ voices. In her freetime she is normally at rehearsal, reading, and baking. Alexis Arriola became Secretary because she said “I want to be able to help make changes for my class and make everything run smoothly”. Alexis is a part of the tennis team and Stucco. In her freetime she is usually working or hanging out with her friends. She plans to make sure things are done around the school and possibly bring more opportunities to students.
Sophomore class we have Carson Harris as President and Kaitlyn Meurer as Vice President. Carson Harris is a part of StuCo, is a Welcome Ambassador and in Key Club. He also plays Soccer and Pole vaults. He became President because he believed he could benefit his class and make sure things flow smoothly. In his freetime he usually hangs out with friends and goes hiking and sightseeing. Kaitlyn Meurer explained that “ I was in the same spot as a Freshman last year and loved being helped by them so I thought it would be nice of me to help them out too”. Clubs and activities Kaitlyn is a part of is Cheerleading, Renaissance, Key Club, and is a Welcome Ambassador. They are so excited to help out and lead their Sophomore class.
Lastly for your new freshman class! We have Lilly Martin as president, Sophia Scroggings as Vice president, and Lauren Isom as Secretary. Lilly Martin ran for President because she wanted to “show a leadership role in her class as well”. She is a part of Cheerleading, FCA and StuCo. In Lilly’s freetime you can catch her hanging out with her friends. For Sophia Scroggins, she ran for Vice President because she heard a lot of good things about the job. She is a part of FCA, StuCo, and Key Club. She also does soccer and basketball. In her freetime she takes naps or goes shopping. She is really excited to lead her class as Vice President. She stated that “she is going to help make our class the best class they can be and help everyone have a great year”. Lauren, as your Secretary states that “she wanted to be involved in the school” she is a part of Cheerleading, Basketball, BSU, StuCo and FCA. In her freetime you can catch her hanging with her friends as well. She’s looking forward to being able to include our freshman students’ ideas.
