On September 14th, our volleyball team competed in their home tournament against Winfield, Metro, and Fort Zumwalt East. The warriors ended up taking the win against Metro and Fort Zumwalt East which are both great wins for the program!
Junior Captain Isabelle O’Connell made the All Tournament Team as a middle blocker. O’Connell showed leadership on the court, encouraging her team through both of their wins, and motivating them in their loss. In the first game alone O’Connell had a 100% success rate on her serves, and in all four of the games, she totaled 13 points off of her serves. She also totaled 16 kills over the four games: an impressive statistic for the standout player.
We cannot wait to see what the lady warriors do in their last games of the season, and are wishing luck to all of the players!
