Luchas Snow is a senior here at West and has been attending for all 4 years.
Sports have been a large part of his life. He has played two sports here at West, soccer for 4 years, and Track and Field for 2 years. Snow mentioned that his favorite memory is “Scoring points against University and PRing at Fort Zumwalt North by 30 seconds.” His favorite parts of his sports are, “Being active, being a part of a team, and having fun.”
Snow is also involved in some clubs. He is in DECA and NHS. He said “They seemed fun, and an easy way to get to know more people.” His favorite part of these clubs are that he gets to do “community service, and hang out with friends.”
Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Flanagan are the business teachers and they praised Snow by saying “Luchas participates and is engaged in every discussion or activity.” Howard said, and “He’s always going above and beyond on his projects.” Flanagan said. “Both Flanagan and Howard commented on the fact that Snow is a hard worker in class.”
Outside of school Snow plays soccer for Missouri State ODP, an Olympic development team. Snow is also a soccer referee.
He spends his free time hanging out with loved ones and working out. Anthony Guccione is one of Snow’s buddies at school. “One of the things that I love about Luchas is that he is an energetic guy.” Guccione said.
After leaving West he plans on playing either soccer or running track in college and majoring in marketing. He isn’t set on a school yet. Wherever he attends, Snow will do amazing things and we will miss his positivity around West!
