Yesterday, the St. Charles West Warriors faced the Orchard Farm Eagles for a MSHSAA District match up.  At the start of the game, the Eagles took the first lead with two innings in the first inning.  During the second inning, the Eagles managed to gain another run as the score plateaued for the Warriors.

With a score of 3-0 in the third inning, the Warriors knew they had to do something.  This led to sophomore Karson Quinn hitting a home run in the third inning, bringing Kyle Quinn and William Mettlach home.  After Karson, senior Dylan Patterson hit a double, bringing another player home and leading the game 4-3.

Later in the game, Brenan Goering also hit his fifth home run of the year, making the score 7-3.  Overall, the Warriors ended up winning the game 7-5 against the Eagles, earning a spot in the district championship this Thursday.

The Warriors play next on May 19th at Orchard Farm High School.
