A Midsummer Nights Dream Preparation

Laraya Duncan, Staff Writer

A love square, a mischievous fairy, and a donkey head. All these things can be seen at St. Charles West Players’ production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. February second through fourth, see Julia Steele, Royce Jermrson, Anna-Kate Buaman, and Miko Taylor as the four lovers. Julia Kean as Bottom, Morgan Money and Hannah Schmitz as the fairy King and Queen, and Ella Smith as Puck along with so many more in this Shakespearean classic.

The actors are all very excited. Emma Thornburgh, who plays Peter Quince, talks about how she is “…feeling pretty good about the upcoming show! I’m a little nervous and hoping everyone (including me) gets their lines down, but I’m confident we will!” Furthermore, when you arrive, you are transported into the world of Midsummer through a portal of foliage and lights! If you are interested, tickets will be sold for $7 and $5 for those under 12 and senior citizens. Break a leg SCW Players!
