This week, the St. Charles West girl’s soccer team faced the Incarnate Word Red Knights in a non-conference matchup.  The Warriors went into the game with a significant amount of healthy players, as the team has been facing injuries throughout the course of the season.  This meant that freshman Riley McGuire back after a week of rest from a muscle tear.  Additionally, freshman Anna White was cleared for non-contact play after her injury in the Warrenton game in April.  These injuries gave the team a whole new starting lineup.

Throughout the game, the defensive line had to stay consistent in order to secure a win for the Warriors.  However, by the end of the game the score was 8-0, a win for the Red Knights.

Highlights include impressive saves from freshman Anne Papin in goal (sophomore Sequoia Ross currently injured), consistency on offense, and a hard-fought game overall for the St. Charles West Warriors.
