On November 7th, the St. Charles West Girls Cross Country team took second at the 2025 MSHSAA Girls Cross Country State Meet. Junior Brianna Krueger placed first, Senior Miley Jackson placed 12th, Junior Elly Babcock placed 30th, Senior Melaina Beilsmith placed 32nd and Senior Reagan Govero placed 100th.
“While I was running, I was having so much fun. I took in the energy of the crowd and just enjoyed it. It felt so good knowing that all of my hard work had paid off,” said Krueger about her back to back individual state win. Krueger ran an 18 minute and 15 second 5K, beating her time last year at the state meet by 31 seconds.
The Girls Cross Country team had a very successful season, winning the Orchard Farm Invitational, GAC Championships, and the District Tournament. Congratulations ladies on your incredible season.
