My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

What many believe to be his magnum opus, his greatest album ever, and to some the best album of all time. After the Taylor Swift incident where a drunk Mr. West interrupted her awards speech, saying Beyonce “… had one of the best videos of all time. OF ALL TIME!”. Kanye escapes to Hawaii, and begins work. He makes everyone wear suits when working on the album as this is a “business trip” to him. Some songs, such as Power, took, according to Ye, over 5000 hours to make, “like literally”, he said in an interview. 

This project cost Ye more than an estimated $1 million to make. But to sum it up in one word: overrated. As stated above, some believe it to be the best album ever, but it’s not all that. It’s still very great, as many agree Nicki Minaj’s verse on Monster is how she got so famous, and Rick Ross’ verse on Devil in a New Dress is one of his best. But that’s the problem; Kanye doesn’t do much, he lets other artists carry him throughout this project. That is why it’s so overrated.
