Every year, St. Charles West and St. Charles High Schools basketball programs compete in both teams’ debut game on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  This game, now infamously dubbed The Turkey Tipoff, is one of the highest attended games for both schools.  This year, the basketball game will be held at St. Charles West’s Terry Hollander Court: the first Turkey Tip Off Game held at St. Charles West since 2018.

This also means that shirts must be made by a SCW student to help students get into the basketball spirit.  This year, the winner of the T shirt design competition for the Turkey Tip Off shirt was sophomore Audrey Branson.

Audrey is a member of the Class of 2025, and is involved in the Marching Warriors, band, newspaper, and renaissance club.  In newspaper, Audrey specializes in her Canva designs for other clubs (such as MAC Scholars Homework Academy) and has proved to be a huge asset when it comes to graphic design.  Audrey’s design will be featured on all the Turkey Tip Off shirts this 2022 school year.
