Seniors, Isabelle O’Connell and Esme Picker, are both very passionate about art and fashion. Both were recently accepted into the Lindenwood University fashion show for their designs.
The Lindenwood fashion show highlights several high school students in the region, around 100 students total, as well as allows the juniors at Lindenwood University to showcase their mini collections. “I was surprised they accepted my dress because I didn’t sew the dress, I just did the embroidery and beading.” Picker said.
The fashion show is set up as a New-York style runway. The show was on December 5th, from 11 A.M to 2 P.M. There is also a market that will occur before the show starts.
“Getting accepted into the Lindenwood fashion show is very exciting and feels like a big accomplishment as I was just a viewer of the show last year.” O’Connell said. Getting accepted into the fashion show is a very hard feat.
Congratulations Isabelle and Esme, we know you will do great!
