Today, the officers for the St. Charles West National Honors Society for the 2022-2023 school year were announced.  The National Honors Society is a group of students excelling in service, character, scholarship, and citizenship, and the group is a tough group to get into.  In order to qualify, a student must have a 3.4 GPA and be involved in numerous activities.  The National Honors Society looks excellent on college applications and is a very highly recognized organization.

The officers go as follows: President (James Wortham), Vice President (Claire Mascia), Secretary (Krish Mehta), Historian (Mackenzie McGuire), and Treasurer (Hasani Hendrickson). These groups of students underwent an election process, made videos for the NHS members to review, and got teacher’s permission before they could run.  The election took place on Friday, May 6th, within the NHS community with the results coming out this morning. Congratulations to James, Claire, Krish, Mackenzie, and Hasani!
