During the 2021-2022 school year, St. Charles West biology teacher Mrs. Bourgeade was sworn into the student council sponsor position alongside officers Claire Mascia, Julia Steele, Anna Stichter, Vivian Jones, and Scott Stratton-Henderson during the end of school assembly.  The 2022-2023 school year marks Mrs. Bourgeade’s fifth year teaching various biology classes at St. Charles West, and this year marks the first of her service towards student council.  Additionally, Mrs. Bourgeade was previously a freshman class sponsor, but she is excited to get more involved within student council, including planning events such as homecoming, assemblies, and other events in the coming future.

“I’m excited to be the new sponsor for student council,” says student council sponsor Mrs. Bourgeade.

Additionally, the students and student council members cannot wait to see her get involved more with the school.

“I love Mrs. Bourgeade being an additional StuCo sponsor,” says student council vice president Julia Steele, “She is so sweet!”.

“I’m excited for Mrs. Bourgeade.  She is an awesome teacher and a great person,” says sophomore Brady Kilker.
