If you walk into the auditorium at St. Charles West, you might find senior Alyssa Riegerix up on stage. Known for her bubbly personality and confident demeanor, Riegerix truly is a shining star among the senior class.

During her time as St. Charles West, Riegerix has been a part of the National Honor Society, broadcast, Student Council, SCW Players and a member of ITS Troupe 2678. She has also served as the junior class president and the president of SCW Players for two years.
Being in 20 shows throughout her theater career, it’s no surprise that Riegerix has been very influential to the people around her. “Alyssa has been both like an older sister to me and my role model since I met her in Mrs. Jennings’s AIP my freshman year,” Riegerix’s close friend, Alexandria Eller, said. “We’ve gotten really close since then through theatre and she now drives me to school every morning on top of all the other amazing things she’s done for me and the other members of the SCW Players as our president. She’s had such a positive impact on my life, I couldn’t be more grateful to be her friend.”
Outside of school, Riegerix participates in singing competitions, many of which she has won. Riegerix has spent many years doing voice lessons and recitals to get to where she is now. Working as a party princess for children’s events and parties, she really puts her acting skills to work. You can also find her reading, baking and hanging out with friends in her spare time.
After high school, Riegerix plans to attend Maryville University, where she will major in psychology and pre-occupational therapy. She also plans on continuing with theater in every way she can and maybe even minoring in it. No matter where she ends up, Riegerix will bring her positive attitude with her. Good luck, Alyssa!
